We are experimenting in house with the idea of creating our own branded broadcasting service for our races, or rather for some of our races. We currently have a producer who is in testing phase at the moment and we'll be test broadcasting some of the recruiting races over the next week or so. The on air talent is something we are still looking to find. If you know of anyone who is interested in giving it a shot, please let me know. I'm not going to be able to make them rich, but I would throw a few dollars their way for their time. In the meantime, check out our twitch site at www.twitch.tv/NASSCAROnline. I'll also put something on the website soon (currently there is a "Live" tab on the menu bar). Thanks, Scott

*UPDATE*
We have secured professional commentators to broadcast the Cup Daytona race on 3/14. We will also be learning the ropes and experimenting with broadcasting some of the K&ARCA Series races as well as the Duel Qualifier races on 3/7.

This is really really cool. Super excited for Daytona, and maybe a little nervous. : ) Back to the garage.

We're taking baby steps yet but we are optimistic we'll have a quality service soon enough. We're excited to get going... less than 48 hours away from our first official broadcast. I'm nervous! lol.

We have four more Cup events scheduled to be broadcasted with the MOTV commentators that we used for the Daytona 250. I thought they did a great job and it came off really well from my perspective. Cory has done an amazing job on the themes and overlays to make the broadcast run smooth and look professional. I have posted in the iRacing forums looking for more on air talent to possibly do some of the other series events and have received some nibbles. We'll see where it goes.

My wife watches the broadcasts and during the Daytona 250 they had some technical difficulties. When they went to the replay for wrecks it was a black screen on the broadcast. Only the first reply was shown. I just wanted to mention it since none of us would have noticed it being in the race. She watched the race from Oregon with her parents, and other than the replay issue she said the broadcast was great, very well done, and very professional looking and sounding.

Yeah, there is a known issue with replays that relates to the iRTVO overlays program we're using. It crashes occasionally, however that night it crashed about every time they tried to use it. Not sure if it is something we can fix or if it is an issue that iRTVO has to fix. That whole process actually is an area where a lot struggle, us included. Thanks for the input!
