Since the release of the iRacing official schedule for Season 2, we have decided to add two dates to the K&ARCA Series and move up the start date. Originally it was feared that we would need more time to gain interest in this series but the interest is there and looks to be like a good season in that series.
The changes have been made to the Schedule page (Link to Schedule), but the main thing to note is that the season now begins the same week as the others. The opening K&ARCA race will still be at Daytona, however it will now be March 11th.
Another schedule and format change for the Cup Series Daytona race. We will hold our Daytona Duel races this Saturday March 7th. The format will be as follows. All participating drivers will join a tournament style qualifying server and Qualify on time using the 2 lap format. From there we will split the drivers into two Duel, qualifying races of 35 laps each. If we end up with more than 43 drivers in the first server, we'll add a second server.
* All Cup drivers who have designated Cup as their series for points will be locked into the field for the Daytona race regardless of finish.
* Not all drivers are eligible for the Cup series, I'll contact you individually and update the drivers page on the website indicating which series you are eligible for. If you connect and are ineligible for the series, we'll politely boot you from the server before Qualifying begins.
